Dr. Eric Cadesky MDCM CCFP FCFP

Eric Cadesky is a full-service family physician who has practiced in Vancouver since completing his medical degree at McGill University. He is the 2018-19 President of Doctors of British Columbia (formerly the British Columbia Medical Association.) He has special interests in preventative health, child and adolescent health, geriatrics, and health IT. He is the founder and staff supervisor of the Narrative Medicine Student Interest Group that teaches UBC students how to write in order to improve their communication and medical art skills and he has published stories in several countries. www.drcadesky.com

Dr. Kalyani Chung MSc MD CCFP FCFP

Dr. Kalyani Chung obtained her M.Sc in Pharmacology from the University of Toronto and pursued a career in clinical research and research ethics prior to studying Medicine. She obtained her MD from the University of Manitoba and completed her residency training in Family Medicine at the University of Alberta. She practiced as a hospitalist and community family physician in Edmonton prior to moving to Vancouver. She presently works at The Doctors’ Office 3 days per week and at the University of British Columbia Student Health Services 1 day a week. Dr. Chung practices full service family practice.

Dr. Garry Feinstadt BSc, MD, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Garry Feinstadt has been a family doctor in Vancouver since 1973. He is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Practice at UBC. In the past he has been Head of the Family Physicians of British Columbia, President of the College of Family Physicians of British Columbia, and Head of the Department of Family Practice of BC Women’s Hospital. Dr. Feinstadt also spent six years as a Primary Care Associate in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at BC Children’s Hospital. In addition he spent twenty-two years as a member of the Medical Ski Patrol at Whistler Mountain. Currently he divides his practice between The Doctors’ Office and working in small rural hospitals in the Interior of British Columbia.

Dr. Stephen J.H. Macdonald BSc, MD, CCFP, FCFP

Dr. Macdonald grew up in Western Newfoundland. Since 2007 he has been practising full service family medicine. He is a board certified family physician. Dr. Macdonald moved to Vancouver with his wife in November 2012. Dr. Macdonald is a Clinical Instructor in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC and teaches medical students. He enjoys playing hockey, tennis, piano and guitar.

Dr. Bill Mackie MSc, MD, MSc, Dip Sport Med.

Dr Bill Mackie is a Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at UBC. He provides primary care as well as consultations as one of British Columbia’s most respected sport medicine doctors. He was elected Community Sport Medicine Physician of the Year by the Canadian Academy of Sport Medicine. He served many years with the BCMA Council on Health Promotion and the Board of Directors of the BC Medical Assocation and as BCMA President in 2008-9. He was a member of Canada’s Olympic Team in 1972 and won in US and Canadian College Championships. He has served as Team Physician for major sporting events in Canada and abroad. He is a Fellow of the Canadian College of Family Physicians.

Dr. Susan Mackie MD, CCFP

Dr. Susan Mackie is a full-service family physician with particular expertise in women’s health and student health. Dr. Mackie completed her medical training and Family Practice residency at the University of British Columbia. She has been practicing Family Medicine and Student Health in Vancouver and the lower mainland since 1991.

Dr. Jessica Cheung MD, CCFP

Dr. Jessica Cheung practices full-service family medicine and has a special interest in geriatrics and integrative health. She studied pharmacology and medicine at the University of British Columbia and completed her UBC Family Medicine Residency training at St. Paul’s Hospital.  Please note Dr. Cheung only speaks English.

Dr. Richard Hargreaves MD

Dr Hargreaves completed his medical training through the University of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia. He then went on to complete a Diploma of Child Health through the University of Sydney and Westmead Hospital, and moved into Family Medicine in the Regional town of Toowoomba as a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He relocated to Vancouver in 2017 with his wife and children and loves being where the mountains meet the sea. Dr Hargreaves practices full-service family practice.

Dr. Inderveer Mahal MD, CCFP

Dr. Mahal is a full-service family physician. She was born and raised in Winnipeg and completed her medical degree and residency in Family Medicine at the University of Manitoba. Dr. Mahal has particular interests in women’s health including contraception and menopause care. She also has a fellowship in journalism from the University of Toronto’s Munk School of Global Affairs. In her spare time she enjoys running and continues to be an avid fan of her home town Winnipeg Jets.

Dr. Photis Loizides MDCM, FRCSC
Dr. Loizides is a Royal College certified plastic surgeon who completed medical
school and plastic surgery residency at McGill University in Montreal. He continued
to specialize, completing a fellowship at USC in Los Angeles. After practicing in
Montreal for several years, Dr. Loizides is now happy to call Vancouver home. He is
a full-time plastic surgeon at Richmond General Hospital with a particular interest in
breast reconstruction, hand and cosmetic surgery.
